Ingredients

3 lb Golden Potatoes
8 oz Cream Cheese
8 oz Sour Cream
6 tbsp Butter
0.25 tsp Garlic Powder
0.25 tsp Ground Black Pepper
0.5 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar

Instructions

  1. Peel & Quarter Potatoes
  2. Boil for 20 minutes or until tender then strain
  3. In large mixing bowl (Kitchen Aid is easiest) Combine potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic powder and pepper. Beat until fluffy. Don't over-mix, they will get gluey.
  4. Pour into buttered (greased) (2qt or 9x13) baking dish and top with shredded sharp cheddar.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350º F for 45 minutes
  6. Uncover and bake for 15 final minutes
